Advanced Placement Regional Update
for all AP Teachers
Workshop Information
This session will focus on a review of all of the new resources and an in depth review of the new online AP Classroom. Whether you have been using the new resources or are new to the resources, this session will provide information to support AP teachers across the area. Joel Gulko, Senior Director from the College Board, will present in the morning. AP teachers will have time to collaborate with other colleagues and review the new resources during the afternoon session.
This session will meet the following gifted competency for any AP teacher looking for high quality professional development hours to meet gifted requirements: (b) The ability to select, adapt, or create a variety of differentiated curricula that incorporate advanced, conceptually challenging, in-depth, distinctive and complex content.
AP teachers are expected to bring:
- AP COURSE AND EXAM DESCRIPTION BINDER
- FULLY CHARGED LAPTOP (NO TABLETS)
- Knowledge of Username and Password to log into the College Board site
If teachers have not received their CED, they need to contact the College Board to find out the status of their binder delivery date.
Those that have NOT ordered the binder need to do so by December 31, 2019 to be free of cost. After this date, there will be a $35.00 charge per binder.
