Hush, Jr: Create Season 2

Write the script, compose the music, act the role!

Big picture

Help create an original story heard on iTunes, Stitcher and Google Play Music

Do you like to write? Act out a character? Be involved with music or sound effects? Join us as we dream up a story set in a new universe of unique characters that is connected to, but independent of, the Edellen portals created in HUSH. This fall, we will be developing Season 2 of HUSH Jr – so now is a great time to join! New this year as well is the chance to learn professional editing skills with Jenna Yaron, formerly of KLBB and now on staff at StoryArk!

Special enrichment opportunities begin our journey in September and include:

  • September 15, 12:30 to 2:00 PM: Acting for Film and Podcast with Peter Moore
  • September 22, 12:30 to 2:00 PM: Improv for Story and Dialogue with Grif Sadow

Then, we officially kick off with an open house and overview (invite friends!) on September 29th. From there on out, we regularly meet from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at the Zephyr Studio, 421 S. Main St, Stillwater. Schedule is as follows:

  • October: 6, 13, 27 (No HUSH Jr on 20th for MEA)
  • November: 3, 10, 17 (No HUSH Jr on the 24th - Happy Thanksgiving!)
  • December 1, 8 (Rehearse), 15* (Record), 22 (Listen) *Record Sunday, December 15 from 6 to 8 PM

HUSH, Jr is capped in order to support the best experience, nurture student creativity and build a sense of team. We only have room for a handful of new members, and we hope you will join us to create an original story that will be aired on the radio podcast Voices in the Valley, uploaded as part of #HUSHpodcast, and then featured on the StoryArk Network. (Tuition is $275 for first time members, $175 for current team members. Scholarship is available! Tuition covers all activities related to the podcast including learning SFX and editing skills.)

We empower student voices and equip young artists to succeed

StoryArk provides a variety of creative programming for youth, allowing them to tell their story through their chosen medium - whether that be a novel, poetry, film, song, podcast or anything else they can dream up. Student initiated and student led, each project is imagined, designed, and developed by youth. Professional authors, screenwriters, filmmakers, musicians, producers, directors and actors share their expertise and experience, helping students gain new skills in their craft and empowering them to become their best creative selves.

StoryArk is a 501c(3) tax exempt organization that seeks to serve the greater good.
