MSAD's Family Newsletter
April Family Newsletter
Director's Corner
Hello Families & Students,
The month of April is here, it is hard to believe in two short months the school year will be over!
As we look towards the end of the year and our cherished traditions we are excited about the possibility of being able to host some events in person! Events will be limited to immediate family members and in accordance with our health and safety measures. Some events will still happen virtually due to the number of participants (SAA Banquet). We are also looking at ways to offer livestreaming of all of our events so that other students, families and our community can celebrate our students from a distance.
Be on the lookout for more information will be shared via school-wide flyer.
Student Athletic Association Banquet (Virtual) - May 20th
Junior/Senior Banquet/Hilltoppers Ceremony - May 27th.
Prekindergarten, 5th and 8th Grade Graduations - May 27th
High School Graduation - May 28th
Our next entry point for Distance Learners to return to In Person learning is Monday, April 19th. Please let us know by Monday April 12th if you would like your child to return to in person learning.
Thank you for your support and the many ways you encourage each other and our students to ACHIEVE, CARE and THRIVE!
Sincerely,

It's Spring Spirit Week!
Monday- students are encouraged to wear their best and most comfortable pajamas.
Tuesday- students will dress up as their teacher(s) and teachers will be wearing their best student outfits.
Wednesday- is the day to deck out in all the different rainbow and/or neon colors students can find.
Thursday- is Decades day, so students are encouraged to wear an outfit from any of the decades in the 1900s.
Friday- will be class choice day. This is an opportunity for each grade to be creative and wear a themed outfit that their class decided on.
At the end of the school day on Friday, we will be celebrating ASL day with different in-person and virtual activities. There will also be a small gift for the best dressed student from each department for each day (voted on by teachers).
Hope to see everyone participate and have fun during Spirit Week!

Change to Parent/Bus Drop Off & Pick Up
Parents, please review the designated location for you to drop off/pick up your child. Health screenings will be done at your vehicle after you have parked in front of Smith Hall. We ask that you stay in your vehicle until a staff member can complete the safety check. If your child fails the health screening, we will ask you to stay on campus as we do follow up temperature checks.
Staff will be on-site to help direct traffic as you drive around the circle.
