DID YOU KNOW that MCMS is a Title I School?
A Title I School is a school where at least 35% of its student qualify for free or reduced lunch.
Title I is a program that provides federal funds through the GA DOE to public schools with high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging State academic content and student academic achievement standards.
MCMS is a Title I School. We have achieved our yearly academic goals, and our Title I Status is not a Focus, Alert, or Priority school.
Here is a link to our Report Card as well as a summary of our growth as a school.
Please join us at one of our Title I Spring Planning & Input Meetings on April 21st (6:15-7:45 pm-- drop in meeting; in front of the MCMS Media Center) or on April 28th @ 3pm in the MCMS Media Center. We use your feedback to plan our Title I Budget for the upcoming school year.
Here is a link to this year's MCMS Title I documents.
Please let Teddi Shriner, 1100 School Counselor/ Title I Parent Involvement Coordinator know if you have any questions or would like to give feedback about the MCMS Title I Program, including Parent Involvement, the curriculum we use, how we test students, or any other questions you may have.
We want to hear from you!
Please take a few minutes to give us feedback about our Title I Program at MCMS,
including Parent Involvement.
