ECET2KY
Elevate & Celebrate the Teaching & Teachers of Kentucky!
Three #ECET2KY Regional Events are planned for spring 2019! We want YOU to attend and help us spread the word!
ECET2KY - "Equity Across the Commonwealth"
Each ECET2KY regional convening will focus on equity in education for ALL students. Equity looks different in across our state, but our planning teams are designing events that look at an equity through three lenses:
- equity in classrooms
- equity in schools
- equity in communities
Sessions will focus on topics that include, but are not limited to:
- content practice
- culturally responsive teaching
- digital tools
- mentoring in the absence of KTIP
- design thinking and PBL
- social media for pedagogy
- coaching your peers
- special education integration
- creating digital infrastructure and school systems
- classroom management
- innovation in education
- connecting with parents and communities

Teachers leave ECET2KY convenings with:
- tools, best practices, and hands-on experiences
- a network that they can call upon for perspectives, advice, feedback, and strategies
- resources that help them improve their classroom practice, build the capacity of their peers, and drive school-level change.
GROW: ECET2KY convenings enable meaningful professional growth and learning among participating teachers.
COLLABORATE: ECET2KY convenings enable participants to collaborate with peers in their schools, districts, and beyond.
LEAD: ECET2KY convenings empower teachers to take action in their classrooms, schools, districts, and communities in meaningful ways.
