Book & Device Return - We need your help!
Please search for overdue and lost items: library books, textbooks from last school year and school-issued devices (iPads, Chromebooks) that your student isn’t currently using. Search your in-box, too, for any emails from noreply@intouchreceipting.com or do-not-reply@nwresd.k12.or.us, which will indicate that your student has a missing item.
Then return that item to any BSD school. You have several options: (Please arrive in a mask.)
- Return items to your school during regular school hours. Some schools also may offer evening drop-off hours. Check with your school’s newsletter for additional drop-off hours and directions.
- Return items to any Library Book Bus stop. See schedule and map for days and times.
- Pay lost fine through the district’s Online Payment System.
If you’ve already returned materials or items were left in classrooms last spring, please contact your school library staff via email to let them know. Library materials are quarantined for up to one week before being checked in, so it will take time for fines to be resolved in InTouch accounts. Thank you for helping us get resources back to our schools so that they can be re-distributed to those students who need them.
Update on Tag Testing
Due to CDL, TAG testing for the district has been delayed. We do not know when TAG testing will take place. Some testing might potentially occur in the Spring. We will pass on information once we know more.
Every year all students are considered for identification as Talented and Gifted in the Beaverton School District. Oregon law and District policy define gifted students as those who score at or above the 97th percentile on a standardized, nationally normed test of mental ability and/or academic achievement. Behavioral, learning, and/or performance information is also considered before a student is identified for TAG services. These services are provided by your child's classroom teacher(s). An informative presentation can be found HERE.
If you think your child might qualify by exhibiting qualities that typically are used to describe giftedness, you may wish to complete a Parent Information/Identification Form. Completing this form gives our school TAG committee more information about your child, but it is not required. All qualified students will be considered regardless of form completion. Completing this form does not guarantee that you child will be tested.
The Parent Information/Identification Form must be completed and returned to the appropriate TAG facilitator. Please submit these by Friday, January 22nd, 2021.

Immunization Exclusion Day - February 17th
Immunizations are required by state law for children and students in attendance at public and private schools, preschools, child care facilities and Head Start programs in Oregon. Nearly every facility that provides care for a child outside the home requires immunizations or a medical or non-medical exemption to remain enrolled.
Children who are not up-to-date on their immunizations by February 17, 2021 will be excluded from school until their immunizations are updated. During Comprehensive Distance Learning, that means students will be put on a list and will not be allowed on campus for any reason until they’re up-to-date (i.e. no limited-in-person activities, no hybrid learning, no in-person learning, no athletics, no school events).
Keeping children up-to-date on immunizations will help schools transition safely and quickly to in-person learning when they’re able.
If you received an Immunization Parent Notification in the mail, you need to complete one of the following actions prior to February 17th.
- If your child has received the vaccines, submit the documentation with the dates to michelle_hall@beaverton.k12.or.us.
- If you want a non-medical exemption for your child, you will need to complete two actions
1) Complete the required education regarding immunizations. The module can be found at www.healthoregon.org/vaccineexemption.
2) Complete the Non-medical Exemption box on page two of the Certificate of Immunization Status Form. Submit both the completed non-medical exemption education certificate and the updated Oregon CIS Form to michelle_hall@beaverton.k12.or.us. - If your child needs a medical exemption, you must provide documentation to michelle_hall@beaverton.k12.or.us. The information needed from the doctor is stated on page 2 of the Certificate of Immunization Status Form .

Students and families in the Beaverton School District may access immunizations at both the Beaverton School-Based Health Center and the Merlo School-Based Health Center in addition to their own health care providers.

Stoller Volunteers
Welcome Stoller Volunteers!
Volunteering in the 2020-21 school year will be unlike previous years. Although we are unsure what remote volunteer needs will be, we invite you to create a volunteer profile or update your existing profile. This will ensure you are able to help Stoller staff and students through volunteer work as opportunities arise. A volunteer profile is required for all volunteering within BSD schools. Please follow the steps below to update or create your volunteer profile. Additional information is available at www.stollerpto.com/volunteer.
Existing BSD Volunteers (new to Stoller)
Please send an email to update_volunteer_locations@beaverton.k12.or.us and request to add Stoller Middle School to the organizations listed in your mVP account. Provide your full first and last name as it appears in your profile. If you will no longer be volunteering at an elementary school, you may also request to remove that school from your profile.
New BSD Volunteers
If you are a new volunteer to the Beaverton School District, you must create a volunteer account. This process includes a background check.
- Parent/Guardian: Complete the Parent/Guardian Volunteer Application
- Community Volunteer: Complete the Community Volunteer Application (This applies to Grandparents, Nannies, Neighbors, etc)
- Youth Volunteers: Complete the Youth Volunteer Application
Within the application, please include all of the BSD schools where you are a volunteer. You will have one profile for all your BSD volunteering.
- This step also initiates a background check. It will come up for renewal every 2 years.
- Once your background check is complete, you will receive an email from Stoller PTO stating your background check approval status, and your volunteer profile at myimpactpage.com will be active.
Thank you for giving your time and talents to Stoller this school year!
If you have any issues with your device or logging in, you will need to contact the Student Help Desk.
