Maple Dale PTO

Maple Dale Elementary School offers many fun-filled and enriching opportunities and events in collaboration with the PTO! The PTO would like to involve everyone in the Maple Dale family and invite all parents and staff to participate through the Maple Dale Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).

The Maple Dale PTO is a vibrant and committed group of volunteers composed of parents, school staff, and administrators who share time and talent for the welfare of all children. Through fundraisers, the PTO helps provide equipment, resource material, entertainment, and learning opportunities.

To join the PTO, return the membership form to Maple Dale with a $5 membership fee that helps support programming and creation of the student directory. Each member will receive a free student directory. Members do not have to attend meetings to be involved.

The Maple Dale Elementary PTO runs many fantastic programs that provide services and enrichment for students. All parents and friends of Maple Dale Elementary are invited to attend and volunteer for events. Individuals interested in helping with one of the opportunities or if you have a general question about the PTO, email us at

Monday Mailers

Each Monday, your child will bring home a folder that contains school and community information. Rather than looking through your child's backpack each day, this system will be more efficient so families know to look for this information each Monday. Please go through this folder each Monday and send it back to school on Tuesday so that the folder is available for the following week. Thank you for your support in this matter!

Girls on the Run!

Girls on the Run online registration kicks off this week and will be open for all third and fourth grade girls until August 31st at 11:59 p.m. Because many parents and teachers volunteered their time for coaching, Maple Dale is excited to offer TWO teams this year! Yes, 30 girls from the third and fourth grade will be randomly selected lottery style. One team will be led Diane VanderBrink and will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays. Another team will be led by Julie Wolf, the nurse at Greene School, and will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The season begins the week of September 12th and will conclude with a 5K at Sawyer Point on November 19th! Check out the picture of last year's young ladies!
