Central Catholic College Counseling
Class of 2021 - June 2021
Transcripts
Here’s what I will do --no action necessary on your part:
Central Catholic Transcripts - I will send final transcripts to four-year colleges based on the information listed in Naviance Student. Any changes? Please let me know! nmartin@centralcatholicghigh.org
NCAA Eligibility Center and NAIA - Final transcripts will also be submitted for students registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center and/or NAIA.
Here’s what you need to do:
PCC Dual Credit Transcripts - Request a PCC Transcript here. Dual credit is awarded by PCC so you must send your PCC transcript in order to transfer credits to your college.
AP CREDIT - Request AP credit here. If you took an AP Exam last year or this year, you will need to make sure those scores are sent to your college. To find out if the college will award credit, visit here.
Good luck and keep in touch! As the saying goes --Once a RAM always a RAM!
You Made Your College Choice. Now, What's Next?
- Read and respond promptly to college emails and other communications.
- Accept Financial Aid offers. You don’t have to accept the entire financial aid package; for example, you might want to take out a smaller loan. HERE
- Parent Plus Loans? Follow the steps listed HERE to complete Parent Plus Loan applications.
- Choose housing , complete a housing contract , and submit a deposit.
- Select a meal plan.
- Check computer requirements. Some colleges may help students buy a computer.
- Get a physical before college starts. Most incoming college students have to submit the results of a recent physical exam and their vaccination history before they can register for classes.
- Attend pre-orientation programs, if they’re offered. These programs let first-year students meet one another and can be a great way to ease into campus life.
- Find out if you have to take placement exams to determine your level in reading, writing, math or other subjects. Your standardized-test scores may en-able you to skip some placement exams, but look into testing requirements and exam schedules.
