3rd Six Weeks Return to School
Special Edition
We have successfully completed another six weeks of a school year! You are receiving this newsletter because you have chosen for your child to return to on campus instruction beginning Monday, October 26th, and we can not be more excited to have your child on campus soon!
Thank you for your partnership through distance learning.
As we continue to navigate this time of uncertainty, we have worked to ensure that we continue to have a safe Return to School Plan as a district. Even though that has been shared, and can be found below, additional specific campus information is also being shared for a smooth transition back to school.
We will continue to follow all TEA guidelines in regards to providing notice; preventing; responding and mitigating.
PROVIDE NOTICE: Requirements for parental and public notices
PREVENT: Required practices to prevent the virus from entering the school
RESPOND: Required practices to respond to a lab-confirmed case in the school 2
MITIGATE: Recommended and required practices to reduce likely spread inside the school.
A summary of TEA's Public Health Guidance for Schools will also be attached to this newsletter.
***Since three grade levels are included with this newsletter, a separate email will be shared out with classroom placement and any teacher changes, since each grade level is different depending on the number of students remaining online and on campus.
Please contact me if there are additional questions at lmaldonado@londonisd.net or (361)855-0092 EXT 1121.
Thank you for your patience and continued grace.
Sincerely,
