A Message about Safety and Security
Safety and security is our top priority at Skyview Middle School. Recently we have seen an uptick of physical aggression (real and play-fighting) and the adults at Skyview have reiterated that play-fighting turns into real-fighting.
So, teachers, staff, and administrators continue to teach and reteach the following expectations at school:
Safety and Security (physical and emotional)
Bathroom Procedures
Hallway Procedures
Fighting (play-fighting, real fighting, and slap boxing)
Bus Behavior
Cell Phone Procedures
Please take the time to sit down with your student to talk about school-appropriate behaviors. We are all a community and we need to lift each other up with our words and our actions. Administrators continue to work with students to define expected behaviors and logical consequences if the behaviors are inappropriate. Thank you for your support and we are all here to ensure the physical and social well being of our students.
Lynn Pham, Principal
Storage Spaces
We are happy to inform you that we will be purchasing storage spaces for students to put their belongings. Knowing that winter is approaching, we have ordered storage that can be locked and secured. Additionally, the locker rooms are now available for athletes to use! Thank you for your patience during the construction.
Message from North and Tartan-- Football Games
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Students who do not attend North or Tartan will not be admitted to those school's football games unless they are with their own parent. Students who are admitted with their own parents will be expected to sit with their parent for the entirety of the game. Middle school students found in the stadium without their parents will be asked to leave the game.

Bus Stop Time Change
Effective Monday, October 4, all morning bus stops for High School and Middle School students will be moved 5 minutes earlier than the current stop times. This will allow the buses to arrive earlier for breakfast opportunities and provide more time for students to get to Advisory.
You can view your student’s updated pick up bus stop time in Campus Parent (formerly Parent Portal). https://campus.isd622.org/campus/portal/nsp.jsp
