News and Updates 📣
- Greenbrier School District will NOT host a Flu Shot clinic this school year.
- HollenBall Juniors is an affordable club volleyball league for 4th-12th graders. This is a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals and prepare your daughter for school tryouts! Please check out http://www.hollenballjuniors.com or reach out to Marissa Hollenbaugh-Dent with any questions (501-581-9594 or hollenbaughmarissa@yahoo.com)
- We will scan IDs as visitors enter the building for ALL events at Wooster this year. Please make sure you have your ID with you when you are on campus and you may want to arrive a few minutes early to allow for time for this new procedure. Thank you for helping us to keep our campus secure!
- Please take time to review the PRIMARY ATTENDANCE REGULATIONS in our District Student Policy book by clicking here. The elementary policies can be found on pages 13-15
- If your child goes to daycare, please make sure to let the daycare and the school know if they will not be coming to daycare for any reason after school. It can cause confusion for transportation home if the daycare and school have received different information.
Standout Staff
Mrs. Hopwood gave the Reignite Award to Mrs. Whiting!
Mrs. Hopwood said, "I am passing the Reignite Award to Mrs. Whiting. She has been an amazing help to me as I adjust to the world of Elementary School. She has also been a great example of how showing love and grace to our kiddos can make all the difference!! Thank you Mrs. Whiting."
Counselor's Corner
Last week was FULL of learning and fun! Staff and students did a terrific job dressing for the various dress up days in support of Red Ribbon Week! We also loved meeting with all our Wooster families and sharing student growth and progress. Thank you for supporting your student and Wooster staff!
November’s word of the month is: GRATITUDE. Gratitude is the quality of being thankful, and I can’t think of a more perfect word to focus on in November! Wooster staff is incredibly thankful to get to spend our days with your child. This week in counseling, we will focus on ways to show our gratitude. Family challenge: Make a list of things you are thankful for! Keep the list in a place where family members can add to the list every day!
