Early Childhood Special Education

August

The mission of the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Department is to build independence in all preschool students to enable them to reach their full potential in preparation for kindergarten.

FACE: Family and Community Engagement

PEDA (Parent Education, Diversity and Awareness) and the Family Engagement Department have combined to become FACE. Please be on the lookout for infomraiton from them will provide support beyond the school building. It truly takes a village and this department is here to support the village directly.

Back to School Information

Our staff at SSD mailed out assignment letters that provided information regarding who your child's teacher would be and if your child is assigned to a morning or afternoon session. Please also be on the lookout from information directly from the school itself and your child's teaching staff. Each district will determine when they will have an open house, if they will be in person or virtual, if there will be any COVID restrictions (limited entrance into the building, etc.)

We are excited for the new school year!
