Mustang Round-Up Weekly Update
March 29, 2021
Great First Week!
We know traffic has been the biggest challenge. We encourage you to drop-off your student earlier. Our doors open at 7:10 am and class begins at 7:40 am. If they arrive at 7:40 or later they are tardy. Drop-off will go more quickly if you could pull around further instead of dropping off just at the curve. This allows for many more students to get out of the car onto the sidewalk in front of the gym, along the middle sidewalk, or along the sidewalk next to the building. Students should be prepared to exit the car as soon as you pull around, otherwise, you are welcome to pull into a parking space and they can use the crosswalk.
We look forward to the weeks ahead!
Sincerely,
Michelle Grinsteiner
We need your help! Student IDs must be worn each day!
EVERY student has been issued a Student ID Badge. Per the District Policy, this MUST be worn EVERY day with the district-issued lanyard and the picture must face out. 6th graders are maroon, 7th grade green, and 8th grade blue.
If your student does not have their badge they will need to print a temporary badge for the day as they enter the school. We have three kiosks.
It is VERY important that the student remember their badge each and every day. A temporary badge should only be needed on a rare occasion not for everyday use.
If your student has lost their badge please have them come into the office with $5 to have a replacement badge made. After the third temporary badge students will serve lunch detention and on the 5th time alternative in-school placement for the day.
Please continue to remind your child to put their badge in the same spot every day so that they have it with them every day. AS they walk out the door or get into the car ask them these two things… Do you have your ID? Is your Chromebook charged?
Student IDs help us know who should be present on our campus, they are also used to check in and out of the office, to scan for lunch, and the library.
A Night Of Broadway and Art show
Currently, we have about 40 tickets for tonight's show. Once they sell out they are gone to provide adequate spacing.
Congratulations Alina Selliman! She is our AAUW (American Association of University Women) Girls' Hall of Honor Awardee!
