Principal's Message
Hello Bulldog Families,
February and March have been a busy time for the administrative staff and leadership team. We are completing our review of student, staff, and parent survey feedback along with assessment and discipline data. We use this information to focus on the needs of the school and create goals for the upcoming school year. We will also use this data to drive our title one budget decisions. Also, as a part of our title one planning we are inviting parents and families to attend the first part of our March 24th SAC meeting at 4pm to provide feedback on our Title One Parent and Family Engagement plan. If you plan to attend please RSVP at this link.
Our data does show that our students are making progress and gains academically, and we are excited about how they will do in our upcoming final assessments in May. In addition to planning for next year our teachers have been preparing and planning lessons to keep our students motivated and engaged to finish the school year strong.
Lastly, it is a bittersweet time of the school year. We have a few staff members who are making changes in their career, moving away, and taking promotions. We are excited for their new adventures while at the same time sad to see them go. These staff members have been a great asset to the Bulldog Family and their presence will be missed. Thank you, Rosa Cardoza, Mandi Urgo, Marisol Rosado, and Jose Ceballos, for the work you have put in here at Raymond B. Stewart Middle School and the impact you have made on our students and staff.

Notification of Inspection for Asbestos Containing Materials in Public Schools
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a final rule, 40 CFR Part 763, Asbestos Containing Material in schools, commonly referred to as AHERA. This rule requires all Local Education Agencies (LEA’s) to identify asbestos containing materials (ACM) in their school buildings and to take appropriate actions to control the release of asbestos fibers.
All inspections for Raymond B. Stewart Middle School have been completed and a Management Plan describing the results of the inspection and the action plan to control any asbestos found during the inspection, where applicable, has been submitted to the governor for approval. A copy of this plan is located in the administrative office of this school and at the Pasco County Schools Maintenance & Facility Services Department and is available for review upon request.
