Reminders for MORNING and AFTERNOON drive lane......please read....
Here are a few ideas to help you in the MORNING drive lane:
*Give hugs and kisses while waiting in line, to ensure you’re ready to exit when the car stops
*If you have reached the playground, encourage your child to hop on out!
*Have students sit on the sidewalk side of the vehicle
*Do not pull into the "handicap" parking to drop off; This is only for our families who need this service.
*If pulling into the parking lot, you must walk your student to Mrs. Cassidy(do not allow them to walk behind cars)
*Feel free to TURN right OR left when exiting the car lane…if you turn right, it will curve right back around and you will go right back to the 4-way stop AND it keeps the traffic in the lane moving!!!
AFTERNOONS pick up... We have worked with the Burleson Police Department on these procedures, so please help us by following them to ensure the safety of students and staff.
*Do not make 2 lanes on Hillside Road..remain in one lane until turning into the school drive and then it becomes two lanes(see map below)
*When exiting after picking up your child, turn left AND right in order to keep traffic moving.
*PLEASE be sure to adhere to the road postings regarding “no parking.”
*Be sure to have your yellow pick-up card in the window.
*NO cell phone usage in the car lane.
BIG THANKS to those who are patient with our new families and little ones who are learning the procedures! We have improved everyday and it will only get better! These procedures ensure our students and staff are safe at all times. Thank you!
Attendance CHALLENGE!
Clinkscale Elementary has set a goal of 97% attendance or better!
Together, as partners, we would like to increase our daily attendance as a campus. To make this an enjoyable objective for everyone, here are the incentives Clinkscale has designated for this attendance challenge:
1. Students with perfect attendance for the entire year (starting September 9th) will earn a special field trip to The Main Event, for Bowling, Laser Tag, games and lunch!
2. Each week beginning September 9th-, individual classes who reach 97% attendance, the class will be awarded “Free Dress Friday”. This report goes from Friday to Thursday.
***Please Note***
***Perfect attendance for the entire year, to earn the Main Event trip is defined as – No absences and 3 or less tardies/early releases for the year.
Parents thank you in advance for helping us to achieve our 97% attendance goal this year! This directly impact our campus ratings! We were only shy of 2 students last year to be in the top quartile! WOOHOO!!
