NOVEMBER EDTECH UPDATE
November 2022 - EdTech Tips, Teaching Strategies & More..
Native American Heritage Month
November is National Native American Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, values, and histories of Indigenous peoples throughout the United States of America. This month we acknowledge and celebrate the contributions Native Americans have and continue to make to this country, and raise awareness about the historical challenges indigenous cultures have faced and continue to face. (1) As educators it is important that we educate students about tribal history/shared history.
We have great resources here in the district on our Curriculum Page thanks to Brenda Brainard, but here are some more.
