A Note from Mrs. Longden

The school year is almost done .

All of us at Holy Trinity Catholic School wish each of you a wonderful summer with relaxation and warm sun. You are an amazing community and we are so thankful to have you with us.

Updates will come to you over the summer months but not weekly. We are already working on our school plans to start up again in fall. You will be informed as it is appropriate with changes to existing staff and new teachers, gatherings of our school community, important things happening in the school over the summer, and more.

Each year, we find our school moving and changing. With change comes growth and opportunities. We look forward to the future of Holy Trinity Catholic School.

I saw a video the other day of a turtle flipped upside down in the water. The turtle was in a panic and was kicking and struggling to flip over and get her head above water. As least ten other turtles calmly swam over to her and together they supported her body and then flipped her back upright. I was so touched by their calm teamwork to help the turtle in need.

This is the beauty of community. We are called to work together when we struggle, to stay calm, to provide support, and to get one another back upright. I am so grateful to all those people who have helped me get my head back above water and I hope to do the same for others.

Thank you all for your assistance in various ways throughout the school. All assistance brings our community together in many various ways - working together makes our school shine! As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace. (1 Peter 4:10) God our Father and our Creator, You bestow on us gifts and talents to develop and use in accord with Your will. Grant us, through the intercession of St. Joseph the Worker, as model and guide, employment and work, that we may with dignity, provide for those who depend upon others for care and support. Grant us the opportunities to use energy, talents, and abilities for the good of all, and the glory of Your name. Amen.

Blessings,

Mrs. Longden

SOCIAL FEST- CLASS PROJECTS

Class Projects:

Class projects this year will be a basket provided by each class.

By now, most parents should have received a communication from their Class Representatives about the Class Baskets being organized for Social Fest. We hope these themed baskets are a BIG HIT in our Auction. We will have 11 themed class baskets in all and we are asking that all parents participate in some way to support your class basket. Parents can purchase gift cards or vouchers for the basket, or donate money that will go toward the purchase of items needed in the basket. We can not ask businesses to donate as we already are asking them for Social Fest.

When you have your basket put together, please bring to the school. We would like to have all items by the last day of school. Please also email Mrs. Longden with the description of the basket and the value amount. Email: principal@htschool.net

Party on the Pavement

Hello HTS Families!

We will be representing HTS at the upcoming Party on the Pavement June 21st. We will have games, appearances by Wiley the Wildcat, and prizes. Here's how you can be involved!!!

1- Please sign up for a shift. We're looking for 2 adults per shift. It is really fun, and something you can do with your kids. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050C45A4AE2AAAFA7-party

2- We like to offer trinkets, stickers and candy as prizes for the kids who come to our booth and play our game. If you have small toys (in good condition) that you'd like to donate, please text me at 262 388 3290. Examples are matchbox cars, Happy Meal toys... etc. Another way to help is to chip in a few dollars towards it so I can get some trinkets at the dollar store... my venmo is @Angie-J-Kern or you can leave it at the school office.

Thank You!! Angie Kern
