The Titanic was 882 feet long and could hold up to 31 tons. She was supposed to be unsinkable because 4 of the compartments were filled with water, it would stay afloat. The social classes on the titanic were divided into wealth, background, and education. The titanic had 7 ice burg warnings, but didn't pay attention to them.

Lady Duff Gordon, Titanic Survivor
Lady Lucy Christiana Duff Gordon was 48 when she went on the titanic. She was born on June 13, 1863. She got a ticket to be in first class with Miss Laura Mabel Francatelli. She was one of the survivors of the titanic as well. She had one sister and no brothers.
After The Crash (on the titanic)
When the ship went down, lots of people didn't survive, some did on April 12, 1912. They were saved by the Carpathia, and they could've saved more people if the California would of had their radio on. Some people got lucky thanks to the ship.

Lady Duff Gordon lived in New York after the crash, she continued with her dress making system. she lived with her husband and two kids. She was very happy because she was one of the survivors, But she wanted to help so bad. She died on April 20, 1935 because of pneumonia.
