Cooper Landing School
Special Newsletter
Dear Hope and Cooper Landing Families,
I have spoken with some of you already about the rise of Covid-19 levels in the state and how we have been very lucky to stay on “green” in our schools.
The likelihood of Covid entering our communities is becoming overwhelming. We do not have any new community-level reports of Covid but the circles around these small communities keep getting smaller and smaller.
As a preventative measure, we will be shifting to the “Yellow” status for our schools. This means we will still be having school on our regular schedule but we will need to incorporate a higher level of mitigation within our schools including the wearing of masks during school.
Below, you will find a link to our district explanation of the different levels of caution. Later today we will be changing the risk level in both Cooper Landing and Hope from green to “Medium” or “Yellow.”

If you have any questions, please reach out to me or our district office for more information.
Thank you,
Doug Hayman
