Brown Bag Luncheon
Join Dr. Reid for Brown Bag on Thursday, Feb. 23
Parents and community members throughout Keller ISD are invited to Sunset Valley Elementary to chat with Superintendent Dr. Randy Reid at his monthly Brown Bag Lunch event, scheduled for 12:00 pm, Thursday, February 23 in the Sunset Valley ES Library. Brown Bag Lunch events are held at a different KISD campus each month and are hosted by the respective school’s PTA.
Bring your lunch, and join Dr. Reid as he shares the latest District news and answers your questions – we’d love to see you there!

Crossing Guard Needed at Horseman & Canchim Street
This crossing guard position is with the City of Ft. Worth but the individual will be assigned to Sunset Valley Elementary. Coach Dunson has been volunteering for this position since the beginning of the school year. This job has been posted with the City of Fort Worth but has not had any interested applicants so far. I am reaching out to you to see if you would be interested and I am asking that if you have a friend or neighbor that might be interested to please pass along the information. Here are some details about the position.
- Part-time (3 hours a day - 1 1/2 hours in the morning & 1 1/2 hours in afternoon)
- Monday-Friday
- $7.49 an hour
- 15 hours average per week
- Equipment and training provided
- Crossing school students/pedestrians
- Helping kids & families right here in our own neighborhood
