Do You Know Where Your Student's Library Books Are?

It's the time of year when our media center books disappear and get lost. Family trips and holidays tend to put us out of our normal routines. Overdue notices will be going home the second week of December, please help your student find and return their missing books. If you take any books with you on vacation, make sure to bring them back!

See Spot Read Comes to Wiley

Second Graders began participation in the See Spot Read Program. Every other week, therapy dogs come to the school, and students get a chance to read to the dogs. It is a great program and the students love meeting Chipper, Barrett, Dudley, and Gizmo.

Please continue to log reading and books for the Readvolution program. Students must log 1200 minutes in order to receive free Hurricanes tickets.

Global Learning Lab

We are incredibly grateful to the Wake Ed Partnership and Wiley PTA for providing the funds for our Global Learning Lab. Students have been exploring Osmo, Discovery Education, virtual reality, and print resources. Students will be creating projects where they will try to solve world problems identified by the UN Global Goals. We can't wait to see what they create!

Check out the gorgeous view from our media center windows!
