Mashburn Spotlight!!!

WOW - thank you for all you did during testing. We rocked the Milestones and can't wait to see how our students did. Your hard work and dedication to ensuring that our students felt comfortable and confident has paid off!

A HUGE hug to Mary Jo and Sara for all their hard work on the Relay for Life Team!!! Way to go ladies!!! And thank you to all who joined the team!

Shout out to Jodi Brock for staying late to make a social story for a student to prepare him for his new school!

What awesome treats during testing - thanks to Suzy for setting them up in the mornings, Jennie and Carol for getting the treats! Thanks to the specials team for serving the entire school snow cones!

Thank you Molly or extending Bear-ly Moving to Thursdays, in addition to Tuesdays. Molly is doing this because she realized so many children were nearly reaching their next goal in running, and by adding the extra day, this will allow many of them to accomplish this and make it to the Wall of Fame. J

Michelle Gormally and Jennifer Frierson for supporting my class this for the past two weeks during testing. They helped keep my students on a regular schedule for sensory room and classroom rotations during this time. They also worked extra hard to make sure that they served all my students along with facilitating testing. They truly are committed to doing what is best for kids and to working together to make that happen! Thanks also to Jennifer Swaim for allowing us to go to sensory room during testing!

We love our special ed paras for always being flexible, and ready to step in with any duties that they are asked to do!!! They are amazing, and we couldn’t do our job without them

Thank you to Michelle Abrams for always being so helpful in making calls and scheduling IEP’s (and following up continuously when she doesn’t get an answer right away)

You are awesome!!!

Jennie Hartzler - you are AMAZING!!! Our STEM day is going to be RIDICULOUSLY amazing!

Colleen Neubert and her crew had to work in the gym off a cart every day of testing, and I’m sure that wasn’t easy with her group!

Shout out to Keri Cook! When a child was upset and screaming in the hallway this week she never once raised her voice or let a tad of frustration or irritation creep it’s way in. She listened and did not try to solve the problem but instead let the child calm down and work through it on his own. And she did this all at the end of a testing week when our patience definitely runs a little thin! You go girl!
