Childhood
When Li was only twleve years old, his family was forced to move out of China considering the invasion of the Japanese. Months later, they found themselves in a town near Hong Kong. Three years later, Li's father died and he left school to have another source of income. He worked in a plastic factory, 16 hours a day. When he was twenty two, he branched off and began his own plastic factory.
Reason For Success
Ever since LI's father passed away, he has worked as hard as he could to get to where he is today. Even though he may of recieved a few lucky breaks along the way, no magic was involved to go from a low class Japanese citizen, to the richest man in Aisa. He simply outworked his competition to his success.

Li Ka Shing demonstrates his hardworking effort and natural ability to lead others. He grew up extremely poor, and is now worth aroud $30 billion. He started a business in a time of bad economy, and ended doing incredibly well.
