BA International Business

A little bit about me...

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my daughter and long-term boyfriend. I have enjoyed a diverse career that has included the ownership and management of a successful entertainment promotion business, high-end retail management, operations management for a biotechnology startup and managing the customer service function for a large research instrumentation company. In my current role, I manage the business operations for a research and development department in a bioscience and healthcare focused multi-national corporation (MNC). Supporting activities in a research and development function for the past 8 years has afforded me an opportunity to experience and contribute to all aspects of a manufacturing enterprise from product development to product launch. Working for an MNC has allowed me to apply my acquired knowledge in my current role as well as providing additional opportunities on a global basis.

While working full-time, I am also a full-time student at Ashford University since 2012. I am one course away from completing the requirement to receive my Bachelors of Arts degree in International Business with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I am considering the continuation of my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration with Ashford University.

The CHAMPS program offered by Ashford University allows me to share the knowledge I have acquired during my time as a student. I look forward to providing assistance to the incoming students as well as introducing them to the fantastic tools Ashford University provides.
