Distance Learning news and updates - April 24
Dear Families,
As you have likely heard, Governor Tim Walz announced yesterday afternoon that all Minnesota schools will remain closed for the remainder of the school year. Following the Governor’s direction, the Minnesota State High School League announced the cancellation of all extracurricular activities for the remainder of the school year. Below you will find answers to some of your questions. School staff are actively working to provide answers to other questions you may have and there will be communications to follow. We continue to improve our distance learning practices to best serve the needs of families.
We know this news comes with sadness for many - especially our graduating seniors. Rest assured all of us at NBAPS share that sadness. It is heartwarming to see the way all of you are keeping connections alive and creatively solving issues.
I extend my deepest appreciation for our families and community members as we navigate this unprecedented situation. Your hopeful messages and words of encouragement continue to inspire all of us here. I also want to thank you in advance for helping all of us make the remainder of this school year positive and productive for all students.
I wish you and your family continued health and we look forward to welcoming you back to our school buildings in the fall of 2020.
Regards,
Deb Henton, Ed.D.
Superintendent
