MDUSD Community Forums:

The district is inviting all community stakeholders to participate in Community Forums next week to solicit input on budget reductions and revenue generation.

Community Forum Meetings:

Tuesday, February 18th - 7 pm Ygnacio Valley High School Multi Use Room
Thursday, February 20th - 5:30 pm Riverview Middle School Multi Use Room
Thursday, February 20th - 7 pm Pleasant Hill Middle School Multi Use Room

It is important for us all to recognize that this budget reconciliation process will be difficult. This is our opportunity as a community to pull together as a collective team to keep our focus on students at the center of every decision. Now more than ever before, we need to adopt an innovative mindset to identify novel solutions that keep us moving forward as an organization, remain fiscally solvent and operate as good stewards of taxpayer dollars, and the model educational excellence and innovation that all of our students so richly deserve.

California School Climate, Health and Learning Survey system (CalSCHLS)

The CalSCHLS is a comprehensive state effort to provide local school communities with their own data.

  • Data focuses on school climate, and student health (including social-emotional and mental health), and learning (supports and engagement).
  • The survey system consists of three interrelated surveys:

•The CA Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS)

•The CA School Staff Survey (CSSS)

•The CA School Parent Survey (CSPS)

Sequoia parents, please take a couple of minutes to fill out the CalSCHLS for parents.

Click Here to take the survey.

Additionally all 7th graders will be taking the CHKS survey in their science class. If you would like your child to not participate in the survey, please send in the attached form below by Friday, February 21st to the main office. The form is in both English and Spanish.

Homelink Password Update: (2nd post)

To increase protection of Parent/Student confidential data, we will be updating password requirements for HomeLink Parent and Student portal accounts starting Wednesday, February 12, 2020.

Parent/Student HomeLink accounts created prior to Wednesday, February 12, 2020 will be prompted to change their password on their next login. The password change does not require any additional information from the school site; it can be completed by the parent or student on their own as long as they know their account email address and password.
