SPIRIT DAY TOMORROW 10/25: Cubs wear and/or Cubs colors (blue, red & white)
Halloween will be celebrated Friday, October 28th
A letter came home in backpacks last week. You can read it here: Halloween Letter 2016.
- Students may NOT bring candy or other edible treats to distribute to classmates. Party food is provided by the PTA party volunteers who communicate with teachers regarding allergies and other food restrictions.
- With the exception of morning kindergarten, students may not wear their costumes to school in the morning. Teachers will allow students to put costumes on prior to the afternoon parade. Parents may pick up their children at lunch if they prefer their children put costumes on at home.
- Costumes should be school-appropriate. They should not be overly graphic, scary or violent. Weapon-look-a-like accessories cannot be brought to school. Students' faces cannot be completely covered; we need to be able to identify all students.
- If you do NOT want your child participating in school Halloween celebrations, contact your child's teacher before Friday, October 28th.
- NO COSTUMES should be worn to school on Monday, October 31st. We will have a regular school day.

Congrats, Knights on the Run Winners!
The top fundraising class was Mrs. Longhini's morning kindergarten class. They enjoyed a magic show and lunch courtesy of the PTA and donations from Chick-fil-A and Graham's.
A huge thanks to coordinators, Mrs. Anne-Marie Lemp & Mrs. Mary Moore, all volunteers, and all contributers. KOTR raised over $10,000 for PTA which will support activities such as field trips and STEM lessons.
Please Help Keep our Students Safe
There have been several unsafe situations with cars in the parking lot during bus loading/unloading. It is also unsafe to direct your child to run across Bridle Lane or across the parking lot. Please adhere to our procedures and to the direction given by our staff supervisors; we are trying to act in best interest of all of our students.
