Travel the World With 2nd Grade!
Thank you for coming to school this morning to share in our special event! The children really enjoyed showing you all of the learning that they've done over the past several weeks. I am so grateful to work with such supportive parents, and a wonderful team of talented teachers! Thank you for taking the time from your busy schedules to come in and see the things that your children do in all of the special classrooms in our school!
Jed's Projects
Jed's love of Japanese culture could be seen in all of his writing and art projects! Mackenzie's Creativity
Mackenzie's keen eye for detail was proudly displayed in her tiny traveler! Here she is, pictured in her dainty dress with flowers in her braided hair and her beloved sidekick, her pet dog Jazzy by her side!
Jordan's Story
Jordan wrote a lovely little story about a mermaid from Wellfleet who traveled to Antarctica for a snow cone machine and an icicle couch! Her travels eventually led her to Hawaii where she met up with her friend Jessica's tiny traveler, Ming-Ming the panda, from China!
Boone's Country Report
All of the children chose a country for their poster projects. The fact research was done in the computer lab with Mr. Staker, Mrs.Holmes, and then finished up in the classroom on the iPads! Your children are becoming quite skilled at researching facts on the computer!

Tooth Traditions
The children filled this book with sentences all about what happens when you loose a tooth in a different country!
