C.I.C.A.N Chronicles
"2013 The Year of Transformation"
Welcome To Charlotte Immanuel Church of All Nations
Greetings From Bishop and Pastor Williams
Healthy Nuggets From Sundays Sermon Entitled: "Its Time To Throw It" by Bishop Rick Williams Sr.
Peter was supposed to be head of church. Jesus told him to feed the flock.
Elder: presbyter; synonym-Bishop
Greek: Bishop- episcopas
The Pastor takes on as pastor and bishop
People placed in position to oversee things; to have oversight
Sheep are meant to follow.
You must learn to lead without restraints.
Serve freely because you know the glory which will be revealed.
When you serve, do it willingly. Do not do it for money saying, " How much will I get paid," or "Give me some gas money!"
Your mind must be ready to lead others.
Dont do it cause your lording over others. They're not yours but Gods heritage.
You must be an example to the church.
People follow the shepard.
Pastors sometimes look out into the congregation and see things out of order such as people late for service etc, so because they're human, discouraging thoughts go through their heads too. Pastors must be the example by being on time and being in place so others will follow.
"The best servant I ever heard was one I saw."
God called us not man.
God said feed my flock cause its my heritage . The chief shepard Jesus is coming back! He will reward you accordingly. He will give you a crown of glory which fadeth not away.
The light afflictions you experience now dont compare to the glory thats going to be revealed in you!
A lot of times in ministry, people get us messed up and we start getting weighed down. You must keep on keeping on. God has a crown that doesn't fade away.
The young are to submit to the elders.
This is how you do it:
*Humble yourself
*Respect your elders even if they don't talk to you right
"The road to greatness is the road to humility."
God hasn't forgotten you. If you humble yourself, when its due, God will exalt you.
Seasons are determined by the decisions you make.
Man cant tell you when its due! Man isn't on Gods time cycle.
We must be subject to each other. Learn to humble yourself! Dont think that you are above things.
1 Peter 5:7 Cast your cares upon God for he cares for you.
Cast has 17 different meanings:
To throw is #1; throw violently
Its time to throw it to Jesus!
Some are walking around with all these concerns: children, health, finances, work, your body and things that don't even apply to you.
Consequences of decisions we have made cause us to be all over the place. We become out of control.
God said, "Its time to throw it."
Are you asking for answers? God said throw the answer on him!
Are you worried about your health? Where you are in life? Are you asking, "What about me" or "They are disrespecting me?
God says "Throw it to him!
Every time you turn around stuff happening! You are studying, praying etc. but when you are done seems like stuff is just out of control!
God said, "Throw away this stuff!"
You need to throw your testimony!
Some of us are carrying a ball instead of letting it go. Give up the ball! Just throw the ball!
A lot of times we have situations and circumstances, " Its time to throw it."
Sometimes you wait too long and the ball goes our of bounds. Its your fault cause your hands were on it last. You need to know when to take your hand off and let some things go!
You must also know who to throw it to! Throw it to someone that knows something, not people who don't have skills to handle it. Stop throwing your stuff to those who cant help you!
Moses was the law giver. Do you throw it on him.? No! When Moses struck the rock twice, he didnt understand why God said hit it once. Jesus could only be crucified once. The rock was "significant" of Jesus.
We try to throw it on everyone in the church but its time to throw it to Jesus!
Jesus is the only one thats been proven and he has the best track record!
Many before Jesus missed the ball. Jesus was the only one that could make the shot! Hes got grace and truth. Look to Jesus the author and finisher of your faith.
Have you ever felt you cant take it anymore and are ready to go home?
Everytime you turn around its something. These are light afflictions. They will be over in a little while! Dont give up! With every temptation God makes a way of escape!
When the adversary comes, the way of escape is to throw it to Jesus.
Arent you glad Jesus has the ball in his hand!
Throw your care on Jesus for he cares for you!
When you try to hold on to problems and worries, it causes stress in your body. When you are stressed out it causes disease and other things in your body such as Inflammation, fluid retention, headaches, etc.
You try to carry everything but it wasn't meant to be that way. "Just throw it!"
Dont pass it! Throw it to Jesus. Jesus is the best catcher you ever want to see!
God sent you the Holy Ghost pass it to him. He wont leave you comfortless!
Don't throw in the towel your a champion. Gods on your side!!
***Wow! It was truly an awesome service from start to finish!! Did you, "Throw It To Jesus?" I sure did! Guess what? I'm not picking the ball up again!"

Letters of Love & Support To Our Soldiers
If you would like your child to participate, please have them write a little letter of appreciation, the size of notebook paper (Its ok for parents to assist) for example: "Hello! Thank you for protecting our country." Add some cute drawings and if possible, stickers to make it EXTRA special for whomever will be opening it!
If your child feels they're not the best artist, that's okay! They may also cut out coloring sheets, decorate them and paste to note paper! Everyone is creative in different ways!
When you are finished, bring it to church and see Mrs.Shay who will be so excited to take a picture of your "masterpiece" to post it in the weekly newsletter for the whole world to see! That would be AWESOME! So, "Do YOUR best!" ;-)
Please make sure if you use glue its dry before submitting your letter.
The letters will then be given to M.I.T Talita Mapp or Sister Chi Chi to mail to the appropriate parties. Have fun!
Thank you for your support!
Parental Note:
Address the letter to "Dear Soldier."
Write a positive letter, showing your support for the soldiers who are putting their lives at risk. Perhaps tell the soldier something about yourself, but nothing too personal. Child's example:"I like strawberry yogurt. How about you?" Teens: Focus the letter on your appreciation for what the soldier is doing and on general topics that would likely be of interest. Perhaps write about sports or current events. Write in a conversational tone as if you were writing to an old friend. No PERSONAL INFO please.
