Start Magnifier

Are you having trouble seeing everything on your screen? You can easily pinpoint items that are too small for your viewing and enlarge them.

How to access Start Magnifier:
  1. Click on the Control Panel tab
  2. Click on the page "Ease of Access"
  3. Continue by clicking "Ease of Access Center"
  4. Start Magnifier is on this page and can be simply accessed by clicking on the tab

How to use Start Magnifier:
  1. Select how you would like to view the magnified areas of your screen. The different views consist of full screen, lens, and docked. Full screen view allows the whole screen to become magnified at once. Lens view allows for a small rectangular area that surrounds your mouse to become magnified. Docked view allows for the area your mouse is around to be magnified in a wide rectangle at the top of your screen.
  2. Select the magnification
  3. Move your mouse to view the magnified areas of your screen

How could this be used in your classroom?

Have you ever heard your students say "It's too small for me to see on the board"? Well if that ever happens, you can just open the Start Magnifier and enlarge the areas you want the students to focus on.
