MESSAGE TO PARENTS
Ascent Academies is committed to maintaining a school climate that is safe, welcoming, and free of harassment and discrimination. PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES/EARLY RELEASE DAYS
REMINDER: Parent teacher conference days are early release days. All students that attend full day will be released at 12:35. AM Kinder will be released at 10:15, PM Kinder starts at 10:45 and will be released at 12:35.
After school clubs will not be held Wednesday or Thursday this week.

ZONES OF REGULATION
Dress Code: Uniform

Our Uniforms are generic, which means you can purchase them at Target, Walmart, TrueValue, Children's Place, Old Navy, Kohls, etc.
Tops - must be a collared, polo-style shirt (long sleeve or short sleeve) and must adhere to the following requirements.
- Color: Navy blue, white or bright (not neon or hunter) green.
- Walmart – Elf Green
- Old Navy – Greeneration
- JC Penney – Kelly Green
- Target – Kelly Green
*Shirts must be logo-free or bear the Ascent Academies of Utah logo (which at this time we do not sell or offer).
Undershirts: can only be WHITE t-shirts (short or long sleeved) may be worn under short-sleeved polo shirts.
Bottoms - include pants, shorts, skirts or jumpers and must adhere to the following requirements:
- Color: Navy or khaki
- Style: Docker-style or school uniform style only
- Skirts, shorts and jumpers must be no shorter than 3” above the knee.
WHITE or NAVY tights or footless leggings may be worn under skirts, shorts or jumpers; however, the length requirement noted above still applies.
*No Holes, rips or tears in pants
Socks - must be free from holes, tears and/or any inappropriate or vulgar messaging but can be any color, style, print or pattern.
Shoes - must meet the following requirements.
- Closed toe (flip flops, sandals, etc. are not allowed)
- No wheels
- Heels must be less than 1” in height
Friday Attire - students may wear uniform bottoms or jean pants/shorts WITH a Spirit Shirt.
*If student does not own a Spirit Shirt, they will need to come to school in regular uniform attire.
LUNCH MONEY
Breakfast: $1.50
Lunch: $2.55
Extra milk or juice: $0.50
Student meal accounts need to be kept in a positive balance and you will be notified once the account goes into a negative balance. If your students account reaches a balance of -$15.00 they will be offered an alternative lunch selection and this will be charged $1.00 per meal.
If you still need to apply for free or reduced lunch you can do this by logging into your students Aspire account. We do also have copies of the forms in the office. Please keep in mind it does take about a week for the approval to happen.
Our reduced meal costs are:
Breakfast: $0.30
Lunch: $0.40
VOLUNTEERS
If you are looking for ways to volunteer we have a few options for you to sign up for. We are looking for family members to help with the book fair, sorting food from the food pantry, help with teacher appreciation week, help putting meals together for parent teacher conferences in spring and field day. If you are interested in helping with any of these please fill out the form on the link below letting us know what you'd like to help with and your availability.
Medical Forms
Does your student have allergies, asthma, have heart issues (cardiac), diabetes, take medication throughout the day or have seizures?
If Yes, this section is for you. In order for us to be more aware of what your student needs or how we can help them, we will need the specific documentation listed below to be filled out and signed by your doctor and turned into the office ASAP.
