A message from Mrs. Todd
What an incredible start to the school year we are having! Our classroom communities are blooming, new friendships and learning are in full swing, and smiles abound! As always, thank you for sharing your children with us. They bring us so much happiness! As a staff, we feel so lucky to get to pour into their lives each and every day.
When I am out and about on campus, I am always on the look out for what I like to call "magical moments". Magical moments are just those sweet, precious moments in time that appear "little" but really can mean SO much. You'll often hear me saying, "The little things are the big things." As you partner with us this year and focus on the theme: "Better together," make sure you stop and take time to enjoy magical moments with your children. Try not to shrug off the little things. After all, the little things ARE the big things.
I have been going into the classrooms and teaching about the rules of the school. Some questions to ask your students:
1. What are the big 2 rules at Riebli?
2. What are some polite words we use?
3. What do we do when the bell rings at the end of recess/lunch?
4. What are the 4 bathroom rules?
We are getting ready for our One Book, One School event. Thank you to PTA and Mrs. Brewer for organizing this. Your family will get their book on Monday, September 16. That is also our Literacy night.
