Yearbooks are only $17.

Each year students receiving special education, those new to the State of Illinois schools, and those in mandated grades have vision and hearing screening performed in school by certified vision/hearing technicians. Anderson is scheduled for this routine screening during the week of 2/27/23 and 3/6/23. Hearing screening is mandated for elementary students in kindergarten, first, second and third grades. Vision is mandated for kindergarten and second grade for those who do not have a current vision exam. As a reminder, that while we love celebrating birthdays, (by announcing birthdays over the morning messages and birthday students being able to select a birthday pencil and book); students are not able to bring in birthday treats for their classes due to allergies, and student dietary needs,. This is a districtwide policy. Thanks for understanding. We do make sure kids are celebrated and feel special on their birthday. :)

The Art Studio is looking for 200 CDs or DVDs to use for an art project. If you have any that you can donate it would be greatly appreciated! Color, condition, topic, age doesn't matter- they will not be used in any way except as a loom for weaving with yarn. Thank you so much! I'm excited to try this project with our 4th and 5th graders! Kindergarten Registration for the 2023-2024 school ha begun. The Registration Intake forms can be found on the districts Website (see the link below)

Registration for returning students will open on April 24, 2023.

A meeting for Spanish Speaking families of incoming kindergartners will be held on February 16th from 5:30 - 6:30 at Davis in the LRC.

Calling all fiddlers and lovers of folk music! It’s time for the 16th annual Fiddle Fest following a two year break. All advanced orchestra students, elementary through high school and beyond, can participate! Parents, teachers, older siblings, grandparents and community members who play guitar, banjo, mandolin or a string instrument are welcome! We guarantee you’ll have a great time! If you are interested in playing and need music, please contact your child’s orchestra director, or email Rita.Borkowski@d303.org

Click Fiddle Fest 2023 Online Registration to sign up. All performers must register so we can adequately plan for this huge event. The final deadline to register is Thursday, Feb 23rd.

Fiddle Fest is Friday, March 3rd. The performance begins at 7:00 pm.
