It's Dr. Seuss Week!
Every year schools around the country celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday with Read Across America Day on March 2nd. We will center our classroom theme around all of the wonderful books of Dr. Seuss!
Ten Apples Up on Top!
We will read the book Ten Apples Up on Top! and do counting activities that go along with the apples in the book.
I Wish that I Had Duck Feet
We will talk about our body parts, work on our listening and sequencing skills, and celebrate what makes each of us special with the book I Wish that I Had Duck Feet.
Fox in Socks
We will practice our rhyming skills with this fun read aloud book Fox in Socks.
Upcoming Dates and Class Reminders
March 2- Dr. Seuss Day- Wear Red and White or a Dr. Seuss shirt to celebrate
March 5- Open House Night! (The OC Taylor calendar title is "Portrait of a Graduate Night"). Join us in the evening, bring your child, and let them show off the classroom and all the things they do at school. The PPCD classrooms will be open from 6:00-6:45.
March 9-13- Spring Break
