"Here come bad news talking this and that (Yeah)
Well give me all you got, don't hold back (Yeah)
Well I should probably warn you I'll be just fine (Yeah)
No offense to you don't waste your time
Here's why
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you

Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do"

AmTab Equipment Grants
The School Nutrition Foundation (SNF) and AmTab are committed to school food service. AmTab prides itself on fostering a positive impact on student's daily life by specializing in the development of K-12 dining commons and food courts, multipurpose rooms, and many more. As a new grant opportunity for 2024, AmTab is providing SNA members with three equipment grant programs to support the curation of updated, innovative K12 dining halls and food courts for schools in need.

DEAR ROSIE
Dear Rosie,
I understand that all onsite monitoring reviews should have been completed by February 1, 2024, but I'm so confused about the attendance factor and why it is important.
Sincerely,
Confused Behind the Eight Ball
Hi, Confused Behind the Eight Ball,
Leading up to the spring, deadlines are plenty and fast approaching. We suggest using calendar alerts and posting the ESC Region 11 Child Nutrition "Plan" calendar to help remind you of upcoming deadlines and avoid any corrective action due to missing a due date.
Regarding the onsite monitoring review, the attendance factor is the percentage of students present at school on any given day, averaged over a month. We are required to calculate the attendance factor and complete an edit check to ensure we are not accidentally claiming more meals than possible.
Here is an example: LMNOP District has 120 students enrolled and produced a 93.75% attendance factor. If you multiply 120 x 93.75%, you come up with 112.5, which is rounded to 113 lunches. This means that you should not serve more than 113 lunches on any given day unless there is a special circumstance. If you have any special questions, please reach out to your ESC Specialist.
Additional information can be found in Section 20 of the ARM, page 37.
Sincerely,
Rosie
