Pi Delta Chapter Presents:

The Walani T. Stephens Scholarship

Walani T. Stephens joined the Illustrious Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in 1989 by way of the Pi Delta chapter. She Dedicated both her time and energy to the Stony Brook Community and her chapter. After graduating in 1991, she went on to become a teacher in Brooklyn, NY where she dedicated many years of service to mentoring the youth.

In remembrance of our beloved soror, the Pi Delta Chapter is offering a financial reward in the amount of $300 to a freshmen, sophomore, or junior female student who exudes student leadership, community involvement, and strong academic standing.

Scholarship Qualifications:

The Walani T. Stephens Scholarship is being offered to:

1. A freshman, sophomore, or junior female student
2. A minimum 2.75 cumulative G.P.A
3. Official Transcript
4. Resume displaying student leadership/ Campus involvement
5. Response to essay questions
