Mr. Jenson’s class has been working on reading fluency and comprehension and in math, place value, and counting money.
Mr. Near's 2nd/3rd Grade Math/ELA
Mr. Near's students are creating real life budgets and using their math addition, subtraction, and multiplication to learn about managing money.
Ms. Cook's (3rd in afternoons) 4th/5th Grade
Ms. Sonya's class is spending time in literacy circles. Research shows that conversations around literature, not just reading, significantly improves scores. Parents, when you read to your kids, stop and ask lots of questions, or just talk about the story, making connections with the words!
