Win Each Day
Staff,
Each week brings more opportunities and challenges. There is SO much positive going on at Micro Elementary! Volunteerism is on the rise, other schools are asking to visit our school to see what we are doing, and we've made excellent progress with PBL this school year. Win each day and look for positives!
Have a Fantastic Week!
Micro Headlines
- Our plan is to have our quarterly lockdown drill Friday Morning. Typically we do not advertise these but I wanted to let all staff know beforehand to ease tensions. Please tell students on Friday morning this will take place.
- Micro Elementary will celebrate Kindness week April 30th-May 4th. Stay tuned for our plan of activities for that week.
- Nominate a co-worker for JCPS Employee of the Month
- Please keep documenting those parent conferences
- The State Teacher Working Conditions Survey has been released. Please reference the information that Mrs. Warren sent out earlier in the week. Our goal is to have every teacher complete the survey. At last count we were around 70% complete, we'd like 100%.
- Do you want to vertically plan? Do you want to offer our students clubs? Take the survey so we know your thoughts.
- Add yourself to the Micro Elementary Remind Group. This was sent out earlier in the year. This is a great opportunity in case you are new, recently got a new number, or simply forgot to join earlier in the year. We would use this in an emergency or for very important communication. Use this link: https://www.remind.com/join/f9bk7c
- Behavior Management Plan Resource Development
- The District Network is often compromised due to Phishing emails. There is a program that will email out mock phishing scams to JCPS staff. If you open the email, it will take you through an internet security protocol.
- PLC Reminders: Own your agendas by planning activities that your team needs to complete in order to stay on the same instructional page for our students. Feel free to conduct a separate meeting for nuts and bolts type topics that are non-instructional.
- PBL Share Time: Please contact me if your grade level is interested in sharing an upcoming PBL Unit at our March or April staff meeting.
- Win Stem $$$ for our School Contest
