Nambib Desert
The Nambib Desert is located in Southern Africa. The word nambib came from Nama religon with the meaning of Vast Place! Its said that the Nambib Stretches over 1,200 miles along the atlantic coast of Angola, Namibia, and South Africa! The tempartures in the Nambib Desert can reach a temparture as high as 113 Farenheit! The Nambi Desert is important because it can attract a lot of tourists and visitors to South Africa.
Cape of Good Hope
The Cape of Good Hope is a rocky area located on the southern tip of Africa on a peninsula just outside the city of Cape Town. It was once believed to divide both the Indian and Atlantic Ocean! The cape of Good Hope marks the point where ships move from East and head Southward. The Cape of Good Hope which is often also referred to as "The Cape" It is a way point for sailors on a route to the Far East ,and Australia. Most of The Cape of good Hope is now occupied as a table of part of a Mountain national Park.
Johannesburg
Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa! Johannesburg is a provincial capital of a highly wealthy province. Its also one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world! Although it isn't one of South Africa's three capitals it's the seat of the Constitutional Court. The city is also a large source of Gold and Diamond trade. Johannesburg is mostly populated by Native Americans that usually work in the mining industry.
The Zambezi River
The zambezi River is the fourth longest river in Africa ,and is the largest river thats flowing into the Indian Ocean. The area of the Zambezi is slightly half of the area of the Nile River. The Zambezi river is Over 1,575 miles long! The Zambezi Rivers most popular addition is Victoria Falls. The Zambezi river is important because they use the flowing water to produce electricity using hydroelectricity!
The Limpopo River
The Limpopo River Begins in Central South Africa and flows east ward into the Indian Ocean. The Limpop river is about 1,087 Miles long. The Limpopo river is the second longest river in Africa. The Limpopo River is importan because, its history can attract tourists and visitors.
Lusaka
Lusaka is the capital of Zimbabwe and is also the largest city in Zimbabwe. Lusaka is one of the fastest developing cities in southern Africa. The population of Lusaka ranges around 1.7 million people. Lusaka is the center of all government and commerce in Zambia. English is the main spoken language in Zambia.
The Kalahari Desert
The Kalahari Desert is a large and vast savanna expanding over 350,000 miles. The desert covers most of Botzawanna, then parts of Namibia ,and South Africa. The population of the Kalahari Desert consists of people known as the Bushman and had spent over 20,000 years living in the desert. The Kalahari desert is important because, it provides food ,and population of most of its animal population.
Cabinda City
The Cabinda city is a provincial city located in Angola. Cabinda was formerly a potugese congo. The province of Cabinda is divide into four areas Belize, Buco Zau, Cabinda, and Landana. Cabinda has an estimated population of 357,576 people. Cabinda is important because, it was a fast and important agricultural ,and forestry centre.
The Orange River
The Orange river is located in South Africa and known today as the longest river in South Africa. It begins in Lethoso flowing westward into South Africa then relesing into the Atlantic Ocean. The Orange river also creates borders for provinces. The Orange River is important because, its water is used for irrigation on farms.
Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls are a set of waterfalls located on the Zambezi River in South Africa at the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia. Today in modern times Victoria Falls are known as the greatest curtain of water. Victoria Falls are important because, they can attract a lot of tourism and visitors.
