CISD and Tarleton State University have partnered to support and develop our best and brightest leaders! The CISD/Tarleton Principal Preparation Program is a unique opportunity for up to TEN of our current teacher leaders to engage in a two-year program of study through Tarleton while also participating in authentic experiences within CISD. This program is designed for individuals wanting to earn either a MASTERS or POST MASTERS in Educational Leadership and Texas Principal Certification- including AEL and T-TESS certifications. We are looking for our best teacher leaders who have demonstrated the potential to become one of our future CISD administrators.
100% of tuition will be covered through this grant opportunity for most candidates.
Please identify any teacher leaders that you feel would greatly benefit from this opportunity to pursue their principal certification with the potential to serve our district in a future administrative role. Potential candidates should be those who are prepared to attend evening and/or weekend courses while also being able to balance the expectations of online classes for this hybrid approach. Email any names for consideration directly to Dr. Berry (pamela.berry@crowley.k12,tx.us) and Dr. Mosely (helena.mosely@crowley.k12.tx.us) so that we may personally follow up with these individuals and provide them with information for the program which is scheduled to begin this summer.
Please submit your list of names ASAP. Thank you for your help in providing our deserving teacher leaders with such a great opportunity! We look forward to receiving the names of your potential candidates.
