Dear Parents and Carers,
First of all I would like to say a huge thank you to you for your support, encouragement and especially your generosity.
It was wonderful to see so many of you at our Christmas Fair on Tuesday. I am constantly amazed at how popular the tombola is! Thanks to your generosity we have raised over £1,000 which we will use to enhance all children's learning experiences. This would not have been possible without you and your amazing home baking skills! Thank you so much!
We have begun the Christmas season in earnest here at Balladen this week. The hall is being constantly used for rehearsals and I am sure that you are all looking forward to seeing your child / children in their performances. The tickets are now on sale. Tickets for the Infant production are limited for two weeks and then will be on general sale after this time. We have to comply with all health and safety regulations as well as ensure fairness to all families. This is why we do this and we ask for your understanding in this matter. Thank you.
It is always a privilege to show other around our school. One of the things that is always commented upon is the excellent behaviour of the children. Here at Balladen we have very high expectations of your children in academic and social areas. All within the community work extremely hard to ensure there is a solid foundation for learning and for having fun. Thank you to all of those with whom we are lucky enough to spend our time. Thank you!
On Wednesday we were fortunate enough to have Vision for Kids come to share our assembly. They were wonderful and we were all stunned by Matts expertise with the diablo! I think some children were inspired by him!
Thursday is dodgeball training day and this week it was Year 6 that spent their time learning and having fun. Year 6 were also lucky enough to go out with Mr Grime this week as well! Please do check our twitter page here to see some of the amazing things that happen around school!
Have a wonderful weekend. I look forward to seeing all of those Monday smiles!
With respect,
Mr Neil Ringrose
