Who was he?
Tutankhamun, or better known as King Tut, is an 18th dynasty pharaoh who inherited the throne at a young age. His reign was short-lived and upon his death he quickly faded into the sands of Egypt.
How long did he rule for?
It is estimated that he ruled at the age of eight or nine, he died at the age of eighteen (1341 BC–1323 BC)

Howard Carter explored and found king Tut's tomb on November 22, 1922. The tomb told the whole story from begining to end.
Family
When he became king, he married his half-sister, Ankhesenpaaten, who later changed her name to Ankenherten. They had two daughters, both stillborn.
