PHJH Weekly Newsletter

Ask your 7th or 8th grade child how he or she did in the Burpee challenge this past week. The winning students got Slurpees from Coach Halbert or Coach Pugmire. Way to be fit Patriots!

Congratulations to our Girls Basketball team for a win in the first game of the season against Athlos Academy.

- Intent to Return Forms: Please make sure your child submits the Intent to Return form as soon as possible. We hope as many of our students as possible return to us for the 2019-20 school year.

- Advisory: Usually, every Wednesday and Thursday our students are allowed to visit other teachers during Advisory in order to work on missing assignments, makeup tests, or get additional help. For the first two weeks of 3rd quarter all students will stay in their regular Advisory classes all week.

- Class Changes: PHJH does NOT do regular class changes at the start of 2nd semester. Some students have approached the counselors requesting a class change similar to what we do at the beginning of the year. However, this is not something we do.

- MAP Reading Test: All of our students will be taking the MAP Reading test this upcoming week. They take this test three times during the year to give the teachers an accurate measure of each students' reading ability and progress.

Extra Sweatshirts and Yearbooks for Sale.

We still have a few extra sweatshirts (limited sizes and colors) available for purchase in the front office. They are $15 each.

Yearbooks can still be pre-ordered for a few more months in the front office for $35. If you don't preorder, we can't guarantee that you'll get one.

OPEN ENROLLMENT: Providence Hall is now accepting applications for new students in 2019-20. Anyone interested can go to our website and click on "Enroll Now". Our best recruitment comes from YOU so don't hesitate to tell your friends and neighbors to come in for a tour if they're interested.
