Technology Day

August 15, 2014

Today, we are going to learn how to use some technology that we will need throughout this class. We are going to practice the technology by using it to research problem solving strategies that we can use in this and all of our other classes.

Our main goal today is to create a collaborative document in Google Docs that list various methods of problem solving strategies. First, we need to make sure that everybody has access to the correct document. To get access, you will need to follow steps 1-2 below.

  1. You will need to create a Google account to begin with. Create a Google account using any email address. If you do not have an email address, you can create a new email address.
  2. After you have created your email address, submit it to me by filling out this survey.

After you have completed these steps, begin researching the following questions. I will give you further directions once I have set up your information inside of Google Docs.

What is at least one problem solving tool or strategy you can use with resources limited to those found in a typical computer lab?
