Give your parents and siblings lots of hugs just because.
Every week, your child will be receiving a kindness challenge! If they complete the challenge, they get to put up a sticker on our kindness challenge board!
Jump in on the fun at home too! Help us promote kindness to all - at school, home, and community!
Pink Shirt Day - Orders Due TOMORROW!

Night to Shine Fundraiser
On Sunday, March 22nd, the Evansville Thunderbolts are playing the Birmingham Bulls at the Ford Center at 4:00 (Jasper Time). That day is a fundraiser day for Night to Shine in Dubois County.
The tickets are $10 each and the Thunderbolts are going to donate $3 from each ticket sold to Night to Shine. We will also be manning the "Chuck a Puck" tables and get all proceeds from that.
Hockey lasts just over 2 hours and is a ton of fun. The tickets are located in rows 5-11 behind near the goal. After the game, Swonder Ice is hosting open skate on the ice for anyone brave enough to put on some skates and have some fun.
So please consider getting your family, friends, neighbors or group of people together and come on over to Eville on a Sunday afternoon for some hockey fun!
If interested or if you need more information, please let me know.

Drop off in the morning - you MUST drive around the school for drop off. The front of the school is for bus traffic only. You may park and walk in your child, but by no means are you allowed to pull up and drop off in the front of the school in the morning. No dropping-off students in the parking lot, letting them cross, and come into school on their own. Our school safety officer will be enforcing that drop-off procedures are done properly.

We ALREADY raised $352.76!
They offer high quality items, which are fun for yourself or a gift for the holiday season. Everything gets shipped straight to you....just like ordering online from all other stores! The parent who found this opportunity loves their reusable grocery bags!
Our school doesn't have to do anything for this fundraiser besides cashing the check :) . Thanks for checking it out to see if you can do any Christmas shopping or personal shopping.
This fundraiser is going to run all school year!

Have you ever thought of being a substitute teacher? If so, we NEED you!
It's almost Thanksgiving! It's almost Christmas! Every year we scurry to make a difference in disadvantaged children's lives during the holidays. Toys, clothes, and food are all wonderful things to give children, but most of all... our children need role models.
We need people with a calling to serve others in our schools daily. Substitutes are needed who truly desire to make an impact in children's lives. It's more difficult than cutting a check or cleaning out a closet, but your interaction with students might be the relationship that points a child toward a beautiful life.
Please consider giving the most impacting gift that you can this year... yourself. If you feel moved to help our students, please contact the central office at (812)482-1801.

Volunteers!
Anyone who would like to volunteer at school or chaperone a field trip must submit a background check. Once this is done, it is good as long as your child is a student at Ireland. If you aren't sure if you have completed one, your child's teacher can look it up for you. Background Check Link
