News From The Principal
Hope all is well! Many thanks to all of the parents who participated in Parent-Teacher Conferences last week. We had tremendous participation, and it was great to see you all in the building once again. Thank you to the PTO for running the Book Fair as well as providing dinner for the teachers! The students were very excited to book shop among the wonderful offerings at the book fair.
For parents of students in Grades 3-5, the NYS ELA assessment will take place tomorrow and Thursday. Please make sure students are on time and well rested because we will start the assessment first thing in the morning.
We are entering the time of year when teachers and parents begin to think about classroom placement for the following year. I realize this can be an anxious time for some parents and students. We want to make sure you have the opportunity to share with us any information you feel is important regarding your child’s placement. Please take a moment to fill out this Parent Survey . This is your opportunity to communicate your needs and concerns. Please be forthcoming because changes will not be made in August when class placement is posted.
Lastly, looking for a great way to bond with your child over books? Sign up for the Parent/Child Book Club! See details below.
Have a pleasant week!
