Jordan/Jackson News You Can Use
Tuesday, November 24, 2020
Dear Families:
Parent/Teacher Conferences are almost here. We are looking forward to having the opportunity to connect with you regarding your child’s progress.
The Conference days are as follows:
Wednesday, December 9th (½ Day & Evening)
Thursday, December 10th (½ Day)
All meetings will be held virtually or by phone. For staff scheduling virtual meetings, they may utilize an online platform to share available meeting times with families. The tool integrates with Google Meet and once families sign up for a time, a meeting appointment will be automatically sent, which will include the meeting link. Staff will be sending (or have sent) communication regarding the process. Our team teachers will have a varying schedule as they have in previous years. This is to accommodate for both teachers to meet together, with all families.
Enjoy the Thanksgiving break!

INTERNET CONNECTIVITY UPDATE
After working to identify and resolve the connectivity issues we experienced last week, we are now in a good place to resume our original teaching and learning plans on Monday, November 30th. This includes the use of Google Meet and other internet platforms.
Thank you for your patience while we worked to mitigate the network outages experienced last week.

ROTARY CLUB OF MANSFIELD TOYS FOR TOTS DRIVE
The Rotary Club of Mansfield will hold the 27th annual Toys for Tots Drive to collect and deliver toys to children in the area. Half of the toys collected are picked up by the local Marines and distributed to needy families in Bristol County. The other half is delivered to West Side Benevolent Circle of Mansfield for distribution to local families and their children.
Jordan/Jackson is again hosting decorated donation boxes in both our East and West offices. All toys should be new and unwrapped. The drive receives many toys for younger children, leaving teenagers with little to receive. Gift cards are great gifts for teens. Monetary donations are always welcome and can be sent to: Mansfield Rotary Club, P.O. Box 251, Mansfield, MA 02048.
Last day for drop-off is December 14.
