Dear Superintendent:
Anyone age 16 and older will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccination in Indiana starting March 31.
Please see the attached information to share with your high school students and their parents. It has important information about how to register for vaccination. Of particular note is the fact that students younger than 18 years old must make an appointment at a site that offers the Pfizer vaccine, as it is the only shot authorized for 16- and 17-year-olds.
Thank you for your help in sharing this vital information with your students and families.
Sincerely,
Kristina Box, MD, FACOG
State Health Commissioner

April 7, 2021 Message from Dr. Tim Hanson - Superintendent of Schools for MSD Warren Township
April 7, 2021
Welcome back and good afternoon Warren Students, Families, and Staff, this is Dr. Tim Hanson, Superintendent of Schools for MSD Warren Township with a few important updates.
Beginning yesterday, Tuesday, April 6, the Indiana mask mandate became a mask advisory with a few exceptions. One of those exceptions is the school setting. Warren will maintain our mask requirement for students and staff as well as our social distancing and handwashing expectations for the remainder of the school year.
We are excited to host Kindergarten Kick Off for the class of 2034 on Monday, April 19th from 5:30 - 7:00 at all of our elementary schools. This kickoff event provides our newest students and families to tour their school, meet our teachers and ask questions about the upcoming school year.
To provide as many families and caregivers the opportunity to provide their feedback, The Warren Family and Caregiver Survey for second semester has been extended and can be accessed at the following link, bit.ly/WarrenSurvey2021. Your input is valuable and appreciated.
It is hard to believe that we have just over 6 weeks remaining in the 20-21 school year. These last 37 days are very important for students in all grade levels, especially our high school students. If you have any needs whether they be social emotional or academic, please reach out to your child’s counselor or administrator.
I am excited to share that the Warren Pride Clean Up Day tradition, sponsored by the Warren Central PTSA, is back on Saturday, April 17th from 9:00 - 12:00. For more information and to register, please visit our Live Feed on our app or district website at warren.k12.in.us.
I hope you have a great rest of your week and we appreciate your continued investment in our students and schools.
April 25, 2021 Message from Mr. Rich Shepler - Principal
Good evening this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School.
Are you looking for academic support to help you finish the school year strong? Starting on Monday, May 3rd, we will be offering after school tutoring Monday through Thursday in our West Cafeteria from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Food and transportation home will be provided if needed.
Senior families, please be reminded that seniors must complete all graduation requirements in order to participate in the graduation ceremonies taking place on June 3rd and 4th in our Performing Arts Center.
As the warm weather approaches, please remind your child to dress appropriately for school. The school dress code is outlined in the Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook.
We must all still remain vigilant and continue to follow COVID-19 safety protocols. Please remind your students to continue to wear a face covering over their nose and mouth when in the school building, maintain social distance, and wash their hands frequently. Additionally, please continue to quarantine and report students that are symptomatic or have tested positive for COVID.
Lastly, it is important that students continue to check email and weekly cohort newsletters regularly. Communication is key to our success.
Thank you so much for your time and have a great evening.
