This Week's Theme - Honesty and Integrity
Dryland Training Starts Friday December 2nd
I am so excited to add this additional resource back into our practice regime. Dominique Demouchet is our dryland training coach. He has run dryland for us previously and is amazing. These morning practices are mandatory. Here are the FAQS:
- You will need to arrive no later than 5:55am ready to work out
- Please wear gym appropriate clothing and shoes
- You will be working out in the weight room and lower gym
- dryland will end around 7:00am
- You will then have time to get ready for your school day - and if at option schools you will have time to get ready and get to school
- This is a resource that many schools do not have - we are very lucky to have this available for you so it is extremely important to take advantage as well as not get an unexcused absence which then means you will miss afternoon practice in the water as well which then is another unexcused practice.
- We are preparing you to be the best athlete you can be
Holiday Wreaths, Greenery and More
Our First Fundraiser - Holiday Wreaths and Greenery, or a direct Donation
We are starting up our fundraising campaigns again this year. The money raised will be used to help honor our seniors and to save up for custom backstroke flags and a new sound system. You are what helps to make our fundraisers successful. Our hope is that between this fundraiser and our Midnight Madness swim-a-thon that each swimmer will raise between $50 and $100 each or more. We thank you in advance for your help in making this another successful campaign.
Traditionally prior to COVID we held this fundraiser and been pretty successful. All products sold that are not on special, we receive 15% of the sale price. They also have a 100% return on direct donations if you would like to go that route.
All we ask is for you to please get the word out. Please send a letter to family and friends as well as sharing on your social media. I like to use one of the pictures above and the link to our campaign. www.lynchcreekfundraising.com/c/299639. We just ask that you tell them to please include your name in the notes or message. We will also send out a personal thank you note through the campaign to each person that orders. Pretty simple for everyone to please do their part. They ship all over so it will work with family and friends all over the country.
Lynch Creek Farms is out of Sheldon Washington and use Oregon Greenery as well. They have beautiful products as well as ship direct and that is reflected in the cost. The quality of their products is unsurpassed and their customer service is top notch. There is no handling on our parts other than what we may order ourselves. These also make great gifts.
I have been so impressed with everything I order for my own home. I have ordered wreaths, garland, centerpieces and more over the years and have never been disappointed.
Thank you for doing your part

Nutrition Tip of the Week
Dryland Tip of the Week
I encourage each of you to try dryland at least three times a week. It is important to build in dry land workouts into your schedule. Specifically Core work is needed as that is the basis for correct technique in swimming. Here is a specific core workout for swimmers.
