Bi-Weekly Focus - Carotid Stenosis Cases
First Focus - Symptomatic: How?
New to the NSY Registry Team is collecting data for patients with Carotid Stenosis. We have been collecting data since November of 2016 and have noticed commonly missed data.
These are they choices that the NSY Registry Team has to chose from.
If the Carotid Stenosis is symptomatic, how?
- Ocular TIA
- Hemispheric TIA (Neuro def lasting < 24 hrs)
- Minor Stroke (NIHSS <4 - Neuro def lasting > 24 hrs)
- Major Stroke (NIHSS >4 - Neuro def lasting > 24 hrs)
- Other
Second Focus - Stenosis Characteristics
We can check ALL that apply:
- Concentric Calcification
- Stenosis below C6
- Multiple OR tandem stenosis
- Presence of contralateral occlusion
- Stenosis above C3
- None
